Last 60 days: built 2 companies to $20k/mo in revenue

Murti and I have been laser-focused for the past few months since HiGear on experimenting with speed. In the past 4 months we’ve tested nearly 11 products that we built and launched. 2 of them actually received sales orders for $20k each in their first month of launch.

Yes, you read that right.

This is the first time in my career as an entrepreneur that I’ve been able to build and launch companies to revenue so quickly. Xuqa took 24 months to get to $20k/mo. Peanut Labs took 15 months. HiGear took 4 months. These new ones took less than 30 days each.

So what did I end up doing next?

Shut both of them down. The first one had poor pricing and margin issues. The second one had a very limited niche market size, and was not going to ever become a “big” company. Good thing to retire with, but thats not what we want to build right now.

Go big or go home. I’ve already built and sold a bunch of little companies before. It’s time to do a really, really BIG one. Insta-$1Billion-big.
